40 Posts – 6 months blogging… and 80 comments…
So it has been over 40 posts, 6 months bloggin and 80 comments and I wanted to share a bit the success (or failure) of this small SEO Consultant blog.
I haven’t spend a lot of time in the blog. In fact I wish I had spend more time in this blog…
* but my 2 boys are getting bigger by the minute and my day is full of , link building, talking to clients, SEO chats, trying to clean my messy office clean, while taking the kids to “swimming lessons, kindergym (yep.. KinderGym go figure), playgroup, toy library, etc, etc… and building my own websites…
But so far, I found the idea of this blog as a nice way to spend some minutes of my day and try go share some easy lessons about Internet Marketing, SEO and general “business logic”
So far I have made a few nice friends, mainly from forums, blogging and the so-called Social Media.
Regarding my latest stats:
Visits
The blog gets and average of 180 to 220 unique visitors per day … (not a lot… but not bad for a small SEO fish in the huge SEO ocean of “experts”)
Why people visit THIS site? No idea…
they may be just browsing or planning to Spam my humble WordPress Site.
Or may be they find things that has sort of “value”…. (you tell me!)

Things that haven’t change:
I still hate twitter
I still think social medial is overated
I still believe that you can’t be an SEO consulant without being an Internet Marketer first.
I still believe the Australian SEO Industry needs a good shake… many false experts… many overpriced SEO packages.

Better Spelling – Better Grammar: Yes .. I know… I’m not a copywriter and my spelling sometimes is simply horrible… so… I will try my best to improve the grammar and press the spell check more often.
Video Blogging… .. yes.. get ready to see my videos with my strong South American accent. ( I will put subtitles)
More Freebies ….. I’m planning to add a download for people that are just starting in SEO to get a few documents and guides to help them in this strange and interesting path.
More interviews: By now I well know I’m not SOOOOO interesting to write only posts about me or Google… therefor I will try to make to publish some interviews with REAL SEO professionals, trying to bring a different approach to what SEO is all about.

Let me start by saying that I only found your site today. You said you have no idea why people visit this site, it’s really quite simple. Your articles are some of the most interesting I’ve read. Even though I’m not really super interested in SEO, I still enjoy the read.
PS. agree about twitter – it’s like being at a party where everyone’s talking and nobody’s listening

I know I’m late to the party here as this isn’t a new post, but well done on your ranking success etc.
Hope you don’t mind me mentioning, but i’m sure you mean “3rd Position for SEO Professional”, not “3rd Position for SEO Professiona”!
Better get that spell checker out mate! Unless you are trying to rank for the word professiona!
