Hey guys, I’m on a small SEO-business-fun-trip here in Sydney. As many of you know I live in a small coastal down in South NSW… so I usually don’t go to the big City! Anyway… so I decided to write a new post about SEO. (you may find this info a bit basic – specially if you an SEO expert!)

Mainly because I hate when small businesses with not a lot of SEO knowledge get bully by “SEO companies” and lately I have seen so many cases of this type of “web marketing experts” taking advantage of their clients websites.

In the last 5 days I have seen how many Internet Marketing Experts complain, cry, and have tantrums regarding “SEO”.

Running a small internet business is not always an easy task. The biggest challenge is fierce competition from big, well-established companies. Only clever marketing strategies can help sell a small business to the huge Internet market. The only setback with marketing is that it requires huge amounts of money which most small business operators usually don’t have. However, there is hope in the use of search engine optimization (SEO). SEO is a highly effective marketing strategy that any business can employ to sell itself out without incurring much cost. That it’s fast and wide-reaching are just some of the reasons why a small business should embrace SEO as an important marketing strategy.
Building Quality Backlinks for Your Website
Getting back links from authoritative websites will boost your search engine ranking in the long term. Spamming the forum and blog with your links is very cheap but those links are not authoritative. Authoritative links worth much more than these blog spam links. Authoritative links can be obtained from government sites and education sites. The authority of the website depends on its age and content. Domain name with .gov and .edu extensions usually have professional content written by expert and people will put their trust in them and link to them. Consequently, people will link to these sites. Any website can be authoritative.
