My work day as an SEO consultant
I have been coaching other SEO consultants about a few boring SEO topics and lately I get asked the same questions over and over again…
BALANCE of work and Life…
how much do I really work?
how difficult it is to balance my normal life… and my work..
The answer it’s difficult.. I’m still struggling…
I was going to to do one of my “Gab’s-big-ego-blog-posts”, but I think Nigel Marsh does a better job than me…
(and he has a nicer accent 
than any potential video I could ever make)
I love the way Nigel Mash explains …
Do not put your life in the hands of big corporations. Do not put your life’s in the hands of companies.
that’s why I work from home… because I can “walk the dog…” as often as possible!
What I love in this video it’s something very basic… I do what I do because I love been able to walk to the beach at any stage… or to go for lunch with my wife during a “normal working day” … or to take Dominic to the pool on a Tuesday or to simply have a looooong coffee break.
Life it’s not from 9 to 5… life it’s 24hours… so balance life and work to find what life it’s all about.
For me… customers… ranking… traffic… are important, but not as important as the people in the photo below.

Great video and I certainly agree with it. However, I would still say it’s everybody’s free will how to balance their life. Even though I am pursuing to work for myself, I am also what I call an ‘office slave’ (work for the Government – oh hell!). Even then, I am 100% convinced that what I am doing right now is only temporary because I have no desire to grow in a corporate environment. So, I do not stress myself about rank and money..the higher the position the more BS comes with it (especially with gov work!). If the job or company sucks, I leave… Like I said, it always comes down to the fact that you and only you has control over your own destiny.

I’m finding it verry hard to balance everything as well. Atm I’m studying in college at the same time as I have different projects going on online. Spending time with my faily is almost only posible on a few weekends. I hope that I will be financially independen at the time I finish college (about 2 years), but I can only hope.
