  1. Hi Gabriel – Great infographic! Sorry for the newbie questions here, but do you use any sort of program to help make these or just outsource? (Assuming you didn’t create it from scratch since you mention you’re not a designer.)

    Keep up the great work.

  2. Hey mate

I’ve just made a comment to a previous post, asking for some infographic explaining Penguin and/or Panda and a minute later….I come across this one !!! :-) (great graphic, thank you)

In any case I was more thinking about something explaining the differences before and after. I have read this in some of your posts, but I am unable to find an easy way to explain this to my managers…

Please, keep feeding us with your great posts !!!

    Gracias amigo.

  3. Thanks Gabriel. I’m having my designer start to test different ways to make nice looking infographics right now and trying to figure out what works best for us. I’m hoping to find some software or a process that helps speed up the process a little bit. If I have any break through I’ll leave an update here.

  4. Good advice, though somewhat too general. But thanks to a picture perfect memorable. Well drawn, and said that not a designer :) . “Find your own system” is great, but how to do it.

  5. The war is just started. After penguin updates, there’s a lot of blogger that has been swallowed by Google. we sholud be prepared; launch, advertise, join a blogging community, share information, and know the basics of the Internet

  6. What a way to say your thoughts in a single photo! I absorbed everything you want to channel in one look. Great infographic! After Penguin went public, there have been a lot of speculations on what are its algorithms. Too many to make your head ache. But i think, it all boils down to quality though. So yes, i couldn’t agree more with “create your own rules, find your own system.” With a solid website having quality and informative contents providing what every readers or consumers need to know about, eventually people will find you and search engines will follow these people.

  9. Howdy Gabriel,

Very well-explained infographic. The picture says everything more than a 1 thousand word article. Thanks for sharing.

  10. I want to get mad and be happy at the same time about this penguin update but I’m thankful that they made this update. Before your competitor can buy lots of links and be the top 1 of that specific niche without doing an sweat. It’s never going to happen anymore today. That’s what I’m most thankful for. Great infographic, Gabriel.

  11. Infographics really looks good, but my question is not on Penguin. Lately, many bloggers use infographics to supply content, agree that it looks nice, but at the same time lost content attractive to search engines because search engines can not see the text in the image and do not appreciate the efforts of bloggers.
