SEO for kids 2012 – A fantastic Success
SEO for kids 2012… what a fantastic success. So yes, I’m back from Fiji after a week where crazy things happened in the SEO world. But let me get straight to the topic and let’s forget any news or updates of Evil Google
. So as many of you know we raised over $1000 and with the great help of a lot of amazing people we brought over 25 kilos of pencils, coloring books, geometry sets, pencils, rules… and 2 nice laptops and a brand new printer to the kids of Nawaka District School.
I had a special ceremony with the chief of the village where I brought the laptops and the printer.
The Chief me how all the village kids had to walk 1 hour (each way) to use computers and print home works or school projects.
Now when I heard that… I expected teenagers walking… but I was wrong, we are talking about little tiny kids walking in the middle of an insane traffic just to use an internet connection to print just 1 small page to do their homework.
Simply not fair….
But hey! At least we made a difference and I’m pretty dam proud of it. The kids now have 2 laptops and a printer to print their homework and avoid walking for 2 hours just to do their homework.
So here we go 2 videos and under the videos) a very huge thank you to everyone that helped achieve this
Ned from DNTRADE
James Australia’s best financial advisor
The team of bookeepers Melbourne
the lovely Jess from fairy loss hire Melbourne
The great Christian from SEO Brisbane
Les from Photo Books
David from Australian banknote
Dan from Real Estate Lead Management Software
Tim from SEO in virginia
Gareth from Love Luggage

Hey Gab – looks like you had a great time, and were able to deliver some real value to your charity – I hope to contribute to its success in the future!
Haha, it seems like you can’t even take a holiday without big bad Google turning ugly… I assume you’ll be putting up a blog post about it shortly, but what’s your take on the imminent algorithm updates that will penalize ‘overly optimized sites,’ and the deindexing of of link networks like Build My Rank? Any of your client or your personal websites been hit?
All the best!

You are a very good person to do this for the kids. Having a reliable internet connection in addition to having computers will help anyone in any part of the world. Maybe some of those kids will become internet gurus one day.
