I don’t know if this has any value… well may be for my SEO ego… but I think is a nice tool to keep in mind.
Ladies and Gents… boys and SEO nerds… Internet Ninja… the SEO professional ULTRA amazing site, has scored 99 over 100.
What does this means?
a) that I’m a super SEO expert
b) That not only I’m an SEO expert… I’m simply amazing
c) that anyone can score 99 over 100…
d) All of the above
I bet the answer to my quick poll is D…
The tool that I used is http://websitegrader.com a way to “Grade” the SEO quality of your site.
I seriously doubt my site is a scored 99…. that’s why I decided to try to “grade” other sites.
ready?
Let’s do it…
Google Grade ….. 98 (oops Sorry Matt Cuts people… Internet Ninja is better than you!)
So what about Yahoo ..?
The funny thing is the tag line at the end of the “grading”
“The website yahoo.com ranks 3,885 of the 2,533,421 websites that have been ranked so far. ”
So I decided to go for the ultimate challenge and Grade the GRADER… Grade the master… how high does Websitegrade grades itself?
Mmmm…. I rest my case.
Overall websitegrade site is worth nothing if you are serious about SEO.
The resuls are very poor. The analytics are even worse… if you want to waste 5 minutes of your life, then use it… but if you really want to get SERIOUS data don’t waste your time .
At least.. I’m not the only person that thinks websitegrader is a bad idea.

Looks like I’ve got a bit of work to do – 71/100 – I can’t take the shame of it….I’d better sign up for the free 7 day trial right now and then obviously keep paying for the service, otherwise I’ll fall back down the rankings almost overnight.
Do people really fall for this stuff??
Mick Johnson´s last blog ..Choosing the right keywords
hey Mick: ideas like websitegrader are great specially if you want to con newbies in making them feel “important” about having a 99/100 … I bet they make a nice income from that silly script
